Painting headlights body color

Anybody done this? I don't see why not since a lot of cars do this from the factory (see the new Corvettes).

If so, are there any pics out there of this?

I did it to my cavalier. You mean you want to paint the inner bezels>? If so you have to bake them for about 12 mins to heat up the urethane to remove the plastic lens from the base. I have info and pics if you need it.

There are a few that have done it. It looks really good IMO. I have been meaning to do it to mine for a while now, but I just don't have the time.

Do a search in the Gallery and I'm sure you can find some pics.

theres a focus down the street from me that did this. its a dark blue. looks really nice, but u gotta make sure u have really clear headlight caps.

Also the new gasket/seal you make when you close it up IMO is better than OEM.
