Painting Headlights Question

Im painting my headlights right now and im going to leave the orange insert in, but tint it black. My question is what tint product should I use? Will it be ok with the heat? etc.

I'd use VHT Nightshade to tint the orange side lense, which you can buy from www.summitracing.com and dupli-color black and dupli-clolor clear coat.
