painting ss/sc calipers

I was told i could remove and paint and put in over is this true and if i can how so

i didnt remove mine to paint them but it would be the right thing to do or get the powdercoated

Taking them off is easy, and use specific caliper paint, not just any paint, caliper paint has ceramic in it to better bond to the metal and stuff

i had high temp paint left over and i just used it and i still have no chips after well over 15k

r1 concepts has a kit t hat looks pretty good for like 34 bucks im planning on using that and its brush on so you dont have to worry about taking them off

my calipers were kinda rusty when I bought the car, so I slapped some black tremclad on with a brush the next day.... a year later and it still looks fantastic, who'da thunk it
