Painting the wheels

Primer is done...paint will begin after work. It's satin so the primer actually isn't that far off from what the finished look will be. For now the lip is masked off and will stay polished but i might paint it red.

Finished pics will be up tonight....well finished minus wet sanding and polishing...that will have to wait till tomorrow.

I haven't decided whether or not to do a low luster clear. Some do...some don't.

The back of the wheels are done...moving on to the face.

Here's what they look like after about 6 coats. Tape is still on cuz I haven't decided whether or not to clear them.

Sooo...to clear or not to clear???

The painter's tape should leave a clean line right? Even if I leave it till tomorrow. I've always peeled it off after a couple hours but I don't want clear on the lip if I decide to go that route.

Duplicolor primer and Plasti-Kote(not the same as plasti-dipping) satin black enamel.

Alright...here's the end result

Can't wait to get them on the car and see how they look...still have to do the other two but I'm limited by my only having 2 jack stands.

idk...personally I hate chrome. If I had a blue car I'd be doing gunmetal. Personal preference

2 done 2 to go...
If someone feels like photoshopping, the last one should be easy.
