painting your supercharger

painting your supercharger

so i want to paint my supercharger but dont want to take it out so just the top
what kind of paint do you think i should use
you think the g1 caliper paint or whatever from r1 concepts would be a good call?

has anyone done this before?

Its easy to take off and more hassle to tape around and paint the ghetto way.

true but how hard is it going to be to get the belt back on i dont want to **** that up for sure
what kind of paint should i use?

easy to get the belt on and off...15mm open end wrench on the tensioner pulley bracket push towards the firewall slow and it should go

Yea I suggest you take it off to paint else it will look like crap.

I used high temp ceramic engine paint

yeah. Just four bolts to take it off. I usually didn't even worry about the belt. Just disconnected the intake and it usually slid off the belt.
