Plasti-Dip wheels.

I am going to do mine this week and had a few quick questions on the ability of the product. I have 2006 Gunmetal wheels and the finish is starting to chip off badly, down to the bare wheel. Extremely common with these wheels.

Will Plasti-Dip cover the transition(s) where there is the Gunmetal, to where there is bare metal, to create a smooth surface? Otherwise it will probably look like ****.

Lastly, what about clear-coat? I want more of a gloss/satin look if I can. Will that affect the way Plast-Dip peels? Does Plasti-Dip make their own clear-coat spray?

Thank you very much.

I just did mine this weekend.. Took a little time but happy the way it came out. Just make sure you don't put tomuch on all at once or it will run. I'll post a pic later if you like. I have a ss/sc.. Thought it wouldn't come out good but it did

I dipped mine in September. It was very easy and you can spray a clear coat or clear spray paint over them to get the shiny look. If not it will dry a black matte finish. It soes do a good job of covering up road rash and other imperfections. It will look good if you only do light coats at a time.
