Polishing the stock 17" rims for a SS/NA

Two questions really.

1. Just to keep them looking shining, what stuff should I use

2. If I'm bored for a day and I want a MIRROR finish on them, what should I use and how.

I've done searches but they are all over the place with different answers.

I seen your thread, but it looks like a crazy amount of work for the stock rims.

Nice work though

I guess its more of a fear of screwing up lol

But just regular polishing of the rims, what do you recommend?

Awesome, thanks.

It won't hurt the clearcoat will it?
Oh and what should I clean the wheels with first?

just to let you know, the wheels have a clear coat on them, any change you want to make to the shininess of the wheel, you will need to remove the clearcoat first.. i would recommend just polishing up the clearcoat. should look like new again.

I bought my car a few days ago, I'm afraid the clearcoat is going to come off the rims with all the salt on the roads.

Will the dealership cover it?
