Now this baking to get the lense off, at what temp for how long?
dont get hid high beams bc honestly hids in highbeams arent really even needed

gen 4 headlights and gen 2 take H7 bulbs, gen 1 and gen 3 are H1, and bake at 225 for about 10 mins

the drl module does nothing. I've tried it, it didn't work. Get the relay harness. It will save you from burning up you stock wiring down the road. Also makes both lights turn on every time reliably.

how did u take care of flickering then? just pull drl fuse? u think one of those ebay drl copasitors things would work, they are pretty cheap.

Mine never flickered, they just wouldn't come on. I just pulled the DRL fuse, no more problems. If you still want drls, just turn on your fog lights. I don't trust ebay with my car at all. Most of those ebay gimmicks never work, just like "chips"

if i turn on my fogs, it dims my dash gauges and i got led defi gueges on the apiller that u cannot see if dimmed during the day, so thats out, i dont usually buy from ebay for my car either, its either the best i can find or nothing, but in this case its the only place i can find a capasitor for cheap, and the ones from other websites seem to be the same thing as the ones on ebay.

I would just run with no drl. I can't see how a capacitor would work. It's not gonna constantly up the power output through the wiring for the hids to be able to run, they just store energy to be released all at once.

i think i know what im gonna do, im gonna go to wrecker and get me a pair of balt headlights, then buy gen 4 ones, and use parts off the ones i get from the wrecker to make the gen 4 ones solid, lense and whatever else i can get off of them. maybe do a little expirimenting while im at it. sounds like a plan to me. cause i wanna keep my stock ones just in case i hit another deer. lol

The 3rd gens are my favorite. I got those and no complaints right now. Bought them from Sypder. Just two weeks of shipping from Cali =\
