Pulled this idea out of my a$$

doubt it would work/ I wouldnt know how to go about doing it.

but when im racing I always loose track of my RPMs for when to shift cause I cant see them cause my arm is in the way. I can see my speed perfect but not the more important RPMs.

is there a way to CLEANLY hack up the guage cluster and switch them? doubt it

HAHA, I've felt like this sometimes, but yeah I have to hold the wheel further down the left to see.
Other cars have it right and have the RPMs in a better position.

Is that red one on the left a laser that blinds you when it's time to shift? That's awesome!

I have my dashhawk set up so that as I climb in the rpms it goes from blue, to yellow at 4k, to orange at 5k, to flashing red at 6k. Its pretty awesome at night.

I have long arms also and you have more control of the wheel at the sides. and look into UltraGauge Automotive Information Center and OBDII Scan Tool I have one and it works well. cheap too.

You didn't see it when I was over by you putting our YYZs on? It basically looks like this, but upside down and inplace of the dome light. It even has a little motor in it so it actually rotates.

You got an android phone? I have an app called torque. Its very useful. Basically you get an elm327 blue tooth adapter and buy torque. You set custom guages up on it and even has. A hud mode that reverses everything .so you could get one of those grippy pads and lay your phone on the dash in front of you and see them through the windshield. Even set it to blink at a certain rpm to tell you to shift. And they even have a shift light plug in. But that's just my $.02
