Question about nokya halogen on stock

Well I just put on my cobalt ss a set of nokya hyper yellow 2500k_55w pro halogen h11 stage 1
for my fog and a set of nokya super white 3800k_65/55w 9007 stage 1 for my low/high beam. They look really good but I just wanted to know if it can harm my stock harnest or cause me problems?... or I will put back the stock one? I'm affraid to break something and I don't wanna change my harnest Thanks

I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about unless you start running stage 2 which are like 100w. I ran a set of stage 2 in my bike but then again there is airflow around the bike that kept the headlight assemble and harness cool.

Should be fine as long as you stay at OEM wattage.

Thanks guys! I just check and my previous light were 55W in the fog and 55/65 in low/hight beam so I am right at the same wattage than stock so I may be okay! I was afraid because they come very hot and some said (on other forum) that they burn their harnest but they may have'nt got the stock wattage. Thanks again

Pretty bright actually, never as bright as hid but much brighter than stock. Cops around here don't seem to like hid and since I already have an aftermarket exhaust on my car I did'nt want to catch more their attention... So , FOR ME, it was pretty much the only way to go because I wanted brighter light but still being ''legal''. Btw I love the way it looks now. I may try to take some pics this weekend for you so you'll see what you get.

Remember, if it's halogen, the stock wattage, and has a blue tint on it, it's NOT gonna be brighter. It may "look" brighter because it's "whiter," but will actually perform worse in the rain. Stick with halogens that have "clear glass" only.

Well I didn't try them in rain yet but I can tell I am really satisfied with my nokya hyper yellow (love the color and looks damn good on the car) so they will stay on the car but as another question: What do you guys recommend as low/hight beam stock wattage (55/65w) bulb that will be better than stock and great in all road condition? Piaa...?

I've heard good things about Sylvania Silverstar's.

I would recommend staying as close to OEM wattage so something won't burn up. IE wires, fuse, plug-in's...

This thread needs some pictures. My car had HID's when I bought it. I removed them and would prefer to find some nice halogen bulbs to use instead.

They are good but burn out too quick. And at almost $30 apeice they are expensive to replace for maybe a year of use.
