really that terrible?

i threw a set of 35w 5000k HID's in my stock headlights and when aimed correctly they seem to be fairly glare prone and even had some glare when they were aimed WAAAYYY down... also my highbeam SUCKS now... i understand its a reflector housing but did they really just do that crappy at designing the housing in these cars? also it seems like a lot of the glare would be coming from the chrome surround... is that something i could paint black and kill most of the glare with?

Are they installed correctly? Hids in our stock housings are not bad at all. There designed quite well and produce little glare. Im sure painting the bezel will cut down on some of it more. There will be SOME glare being a halogen headlight. Also Bi-Xenons are HID low and High beams where High/Low kits are either HID Low beam only or have a tiny halogen bulb attached for functional high beams for inspection but not used to drive with.

Our kits are pretty popular here. Hope you fix your glare issue.
