RK Sport Lip Kit Painting Question...

OK for all of you that have gotten the RK Sport lip kit, I was wondering how much you paid to have it painted..? If you have KNOWLEDGE about painting, please post as well.

This is very close to being my next mod but need to make sure it will be within my budget.

Thanks for your help.

I cant remember how much it cost me when i still had my car silver but It needs to be primed a certain way because its not fiberglass. Some kind of flew agent has to be added to it also.Ill see if I can find out more details for you!

$600 painted and installed by my local body shop. I had the front lip re-done once and that part alone was $300 because of the re-finish, and it was just paint, no install.

Is it urethane? If it is then it's probably raw plastic and it needs to get sprayed with adheason promotor and flex addative in the clear your lookin at around $250. Idk my boss writes the estimates.

Screws are in the wheel wells. There are some rivets on the door sills.

Yes, it's urethane. And yes, it has some extra steps, like promoter and flex, but that's not a big deal.
