safe way to remove paint?

Question safe way to remove paint?

is there a specific brand of paint thinner that i can use on some taillights? i want to remove some niteshades someone sprayed on it... looks kinda shitty and i just wanna remove it without damaging the plastic or anything..

what should i go with?

the ONLY way i got mine off was airplane stripper, and then sanding what didnt come off with that. i used a little too much stripper so it just got hard and stayed on the tail lights. i had to sand them all first with 80 grit, then 180, and then wet sand with 1500.

I pulled it with extra strength Goof-Off, windex and a green scotch brite pad

Then Buff it out with rubbing compound a few times
