shipping damage??

I'm not sure if this gap between the headlight and the bumper is supposed to be there.

My car just arrived off the boat here in Germany and I'm about to file a claim with the company so I can get compensation for fixing this, if it is a problem.

I've never noticed there being this gap before, maybe a few clips came loose when it was rocking on the boat, but take a look and tell me what you guys think

It's also more prominent on one side than the other... and I know it's very dirty, this was during the inspection before I had a chance to turn it on..

one more note, the bumper does seem loose, pushing up on it from the bottom there is a lot of movement, but all the panels are straight, doesn't appear to have hit anything. . .

Looks like a typical bumper/headlight fitment on a Cobalt to me. Mine gaps worse on the right heatlight then the left just like yours. Same thing on my girlfriends balt. If you see physical damage on the headlight or bumper then i would be concerned.

Well they agreed with me at the shipping inspection place that it seemed a little abnormal and it's not something they would notice at first glance.

So since it wasn't mentioned at the initial inspection, and it was at the final, I can submit a claim for it.

I think there are some missing clips under the hood though... Hmn..

Should there be a clip on each hole? LOL

That looks 100000000000000% normal to me. It's just because you're never looked hard, trust me. My 2008 L61 looked like that, as does my 2006 LSJ.

if you think that's bad look at aftermarket headlights put in
if they're gonna try and fix it for free let them but i highly doubt any harm was done to them
