I question the same thing. My ss is silver too, and in all honesty Ive seen black on silver and it looks shitty. If you were going to paint them I wouldnt go all black. I'm thinking of doing ultra silver metallic spokes, with a a lip, and black metallic the sides and spoke sides. As far as the ss/tc colors go black wheels only look good on srtc, black, and vic red. It doesnt look as good on silver, imperial, white, and yellow, with silver being the worst.

hahaha. Maybe so. Personal preference I suppose. I just think the light silver and dark black clash too much as far as color lightness and darkness goes. I dont think I have seen a silver balt with black wheels I have yet to actually like. But its all in your preference, if you like, you like, if you dont, you dont. Post pics if you do it so I can be proven wrong, maybe it will give me motivation to do mine, lol.

 

Any darker and it would lose some detail, but you still get a general idea of how it looks
