We have to remove these all the time at my body shop. Do not use a razor blade. You will have to get a hold of what's known as an "eraser wheel" 3M makes it. You can probably get one at an autoparts store. It is a rubber wheel that attatches to the end of a drill and "erases" the double sided tape. It does not harm the paint as long as the molding were not applied to the car within 24 hours of it being painted and as long as you don't spin the drill as fast as it can go. The wheel works best at a moderate speed. If you go too fast, the wheel gets hot and causes the tape to melt on to the car. So just use your head when doing it.

Hope that helps.

Can't you just use somthing like "Goo Gon" or "Goof Off" both products that I believe you can get from your local wall mart

I do not reccomend that because they are chemically abrasive. Appearence wise it might work, but they damage the clear coat in the areas that it is applied. You won't see any problems right off the bat, but after about 2 years you will see dull spots.
