someone cut me off and....
this happend.... small dent and a few scrapes.. how much do you guys think this will run me?.. im guessing no more than 200 bucks..accident could have been much worst, thank god this car handles well because it was in a cruve.

yeah she stopped, she was really nice.. she cut me off in the curve, she went around me and we were side by side trying to make t he turn but there was no room for the both of us since the road was under construction.
you guys didn't exchange insurance information? You should have taken her information, and her insurance would have paid for it. I never let the other person go now, no matter what, and I ALWAYS call the poilice and get a police report to make sure if I was hit, that Im not found at fault. That, and so when the insurance company calls to get your story, and the other persons, there is a written document of what occured.
ANYWHO....
Thats not a real bad scrape, if you have a connection at a body shop, it shouldn't be too expensive. Paint supplies/materials are high as hell at the present time (and only going up), then you have labor, so it might run you a little more than $200 right now.

the damge is not bad.. you can barely see it. I didnt report it because if you havent noticed i live in nj and my mom got into a huge accident like 2 months ago.. we dont need our rates going up some more.
btw they wanted 530 bucks charging me for 2 days labor... these guys are full of ****... when i know they are just going to let the car sit out for one day and then do 30 min of work.last year they estimated me for 600 for my 04 cavalier with the entire rear quarter panel dented and messed up tailight...

Also, the prices you quoted are right around where I expected them. I got hit in the front, and just did some minor damage to my front bumper, and the other womans insurane paid me $594 to get the front bumper repainted. (on my cavalier) Also, my G/F's aunt hit my right rear quarter on my cavalier and dented it, and did some minor paint damage, and her insurance company gave me a little over $600 to have it repaired. (dent man pulled the dents, buffed the paint out.)
Material costs, clear coat costs, and paint costs have risen sky-high. Add all that up, then tack on the whatever the shop rate is (usually $60-$70+$$$) by whatever hourage they charge you to do the job. If you can find someone to do it for less than $500 now-a-days, your lucky.
i just had a minor accident and had a new fender put on my car, and the door blended hood blended and the bumper blended it was in the shop for 2 days it cost me a little over 1100 dollars to get fixed..
