Spoiler idea

So I'm looking to get a yellow high rise spoiler and I was thinking of painting the center piece black. How would everyone think that'd look? And has anyone done this?

Awesome! Def throw up some pic when you get the spoiler and put it on cause I'm doing the same with the black/yellow theme.

Out of curiosity, why does it seem that all 2.2 owners are infactuated with the high rise?

i just like the looks of it. i dont think its gonna help me performance wise or in any other way. i just like it for some reason. i actually wanted it when they first started doin the test for the ss/sc before it was an actual production car. besides it better than goin with some huge ricer wing.

We all want what we dont have.
Kinda like how the SS/SC crew doesn't like the high rise.

Plus a little of our own taste.

lol, I wasn't hating, I was just asking. I'm going wingless on Monday. I've always hated my spoiler......but thing is, I just don't like spoilers/wings period. Like for instance first thing i'd do if I got an EVO (besides the RS) or STI.......take of that massive wing!

Cars that I DO like with spoilers: NSX, only b/c its integrated into the rear quarter panels. Bugatti Veyron b/c you need the damn thing. Plymouth Superbird/Dodge Charger Daytona b/c its rediculous and combined with the slanted nose, raises the **** out of the value of those cars it seems, lol.

I just like the look of a clean car. A big ass spoiler runs the body lines IMO.

we must agree to disagree my friend. lolz. i hate cars that have a trunk that just ends. cobalt falls into the category. much like an early 70's camaro. cant stand em without the 3 piece wing

lol word. See, I love that look......like 99-03 Celicas, 03+ Tiburons, Cobalts.......all of which have that style trunk.....I think it looks badass w/o the spoiler.
