Canada Spray Paint for your Seats!

I was watching Spped the other week and i seen a new product from Dupli Color where you can paint your seats (any Vinyl or Fabric). The guy taped his old junk OEM seats and painted they two colors and it looked wicket. I dont know if i want to try this so was wondering if anyone has seen/tried this?

i know a few people who used it to paint there carpet. it will rub off eventually, but you can just repaint it. if i had an old beater with stained seats id probaly do it.

Wonder if it makes the fabric more stiff?

the duplicolor paint sucks, I have used it for years, it made my factory seats hard and the carpet the same way. It held up fine. It will rub off the seats but you can just re apply. I would recommend OER Its a little more expensive but doesnt make carpet or seats hard feeling and also works great on door panels and the rest of the interior. I am working on my interior now and I am using OER and I am very pleased. That is just my take. I dont like the way duplicolor sprays out. when it starts getting low it starts spitting really bad.

Pretty cool. If I had a older car, this would be the best option. Nice find...

did it on my escort i had many years ago. it did make the fabric a little stiff so i took a brush and scrubs the seat to break up the fibers in the fabric and it made a huge difference

Ive used it before in my 318's interior. The black seats and rear shelf faded to purple and it revived em back to black. I also painted the grey vinyl visors and the pillars I wraped. So far it hasnt faded or rubed off and i did it about a year and a half ago.

I would recomend it.

A little off topic, but redoing a headliner isnt very hard, it just takes a little patience.

I used the black paint for my interior while I was painting it black. It will hold up fine on everything but the cloth seats, the paint slightly changes the texture and will fade with time and use. Best to just get black seat covers, I recommend for all other interior parts though, it worked great.
