I have a 2.2 LTZ Sedan and I had the idea of picking up the stock SS bumpers. Would the rear bumper from a 2 door SS fit the trunk on the 4 door? Or would I be best off just trying to find the body parts off the 2.4 SS Sedan?

The 2 door rear bumper won't fit obviously. Completely different lights and what not. The front should fit.

You could always get the 4 door ss rear, but it isnt that much of a difference.

 

Would the RK Sports lip kit fit on the 4door?I like the RK sports kit looks real clean

 

I'm still not 100% convinced that if you changed out the tail lights it won't fit. From what I can tell from the general body lines, they are pretty well the same. Obviously, you'd have to put a 2door trunk lid on the car as well, or you'd have no reverse lights, though.

I'd really like for someone to try this, but it is a pretty expensive investment for a not-guarantied fit. Perhaps someone with a 2door has a friend with a 4door that would be willing to temporarily frankenstein their cars? Or vis versa.

 

I think I am going to be seeing GTP soon, we both got 2.4's, mine 2dr his a 4dr. I will take a look at this and see how much they match up.

 

i bought a 4 door cobalt ls trunk without a spoiler to put on my 2dr ss and the 4dr trunk is actually a lil over an inch wider it will not fit on the 2 door cobalt and the 2dr trunk will not fit on the 4dr cuz itll be too small then.
