They're HORRIBLE. I had them in my Cavy, WAY expensive and they burnt out within 6 months of putting them in. If you're going to be spending money on HID's anyway, just save your money - don't buy the Silverstar lights. My friend had the same thing happen with hers in her Accord, first bulb burnt out after 3 months the second one lasted almost 8 months.

Like I said, if it's HIDs you want you're better off sticking with stock and saving your money for what you really want.

they are bright, but dont last long with some people's cars
its hit or miss in my experience
the better bet is to get real PIAA's, i think they have a lifetime warranty or some ****
i might pick up a set

I have Sylvania SilverStar headlight bulbs in my Cavy. They've been working nice for 2 years now. Everyone has their own experience and remember to weigh in all options before purchasing any lighting. If you really want to go the HID route, it's best to save up for them and get them instead of taking a "quick fix" route (which will set you back even more if they will be soon replaced).

if you get a nice pair, they're alright, but its usually hit or miss
id rather buy a nice set and be done with it
spend the extra money and get some PIAA's, they are bright, and not too expensive

Aftermarket high wattage bulbs damage your headlight harness overtime because they heat up a lot.

In my opinion, just save up and get the REAL thing. . . .HID. They run cooler than stock halogen bulbs and usually the HID kits come with at least a one year warranty.

You'll also want to buy an HID kit with both the ballast and ignitor built into one. Older HID kits have them as separates.
