I really like, although I'm concerned that w/ too much bass in the trunk, that the sides that hang past the trunk would rub. Thoughts..?

 

...what? why would they rub. Does your trunk move further in then the latch allows it when your sub hits. or does it vibrate out.

Ill probobly attempt a mold this summer after i get the materials, and make one and see how it comes out. If it comes out decent, then yea ill make a whole bunch. Im unemployed and itll be a good way to make some money. My unemployment doesnt run out till the end of july And since my car will be done, i dont have to work on it every day lol

 

Just do us here a favor and keep us updated when things start coming together and if you can actually do it.

i actually just cut up a lowrise wing..well the bottom mounting points i'm going to fiberglass it up that way works nicely

 

yeah i want to contour a sheet metal one with a little more curve to it. its just ultimately going to be a pain in the ass haha.

Not that it really serves as any hope...but I got a response back from Neil Tjin pretty quickly when I emailed over there...I don't give a damn who gets one of these trunks out first on the market (Tjin or Gestapo)...but I can assure you whoever does...will have my money for sure!
