I heard the talon or focus a-pillar pods can be fabbed with a heat gun the a-pillar and sand them down/paint em after getting the shape you want. I'm likely to go to a custom performance shop or Lindesy Hunter Car Customs shop and see what they can do for me. Tired of this waiting game.

good man mike....let me know what happens i'll prob do the same

I'm down, hit me up with the info. I used that 3M tape stuff on a chevelle i had, 3 gauges mounted under the dash, work beautifully, and didn't discolor.

How many interested people do we have now?? What's the update??
Sorry, I'm short on time and didn't have time to make a list and do the counting.

You can't according to Autometer they have no plans on making any other gauges like the OEM Cobalt Gauges. That was something done through their OEM Division for GM. That is the answer I got when I called.

can someone find me a decent dual pod setup on ebay that i can mold into my new pilar i ordered..... i dont know which one to get, im thinking one of the simulated carbon fiber ones as it will be much easier to sand and paint...... i am also mounting a pair of tweeters in them, but i will use some pvc for that..... the pods are like 15 bucks on ebay shipped, someone just give me an idea of which one to go with..... they all look the same, like universal, but say they are for accords.... civics.... neons.... someone help!!

Why don't we e-mail the guy that's selling that 'balt on e-bay with the nice looking pillar and find out who did it for him ...

E-mail sent.

We'll see if he responds .

As it turns out, the guy who is selling the cobalt on e-bay with the nice lookin' a-pillar built it himself. I sent him a link to this thread and encouraged him to make some more!

I'm not particularly talented with fiberglass (nor do I have the time / desire to do one myself), so the first person to make a nice looking, good fitting a-pillar will get my $$.
