how did you get it wet?

Mine get wet all the time, but there are rubber grommets to keep water out of the connections...

i would say you should be fine. mine get wet every time it rains or when i wash my car. i have mine tucked underneath the headlight bracket so its harder for water to reach it though

i honestly dont know... they have been in for about 3 months and been fine. but i just drop back to my school and half way through the drive they went out.... i shut my car off for about 5 min,, turned the car on, and the drivers side comes on a little bit, flickers and then goes out the passenger side, nothing.

maybe its somthing elses? because all the seals were tight when i took them off?

I had an issue my first day installed where my passenger light went out ( it was pouring rain all day) I was worried this would be an issue everytime.

Upon further investigation i realized the balast fell out from under the headlight bracket due to me being lazy and sticking it down with a double sided foam pad that I had stuck down and decided wasn't centers enough and moved over. Needless to say it didn't stick and i was to blame. The headlight went out because the cord from the headlight to the ballast wasn't sealed due to it hanging and getting soaked. I feared the balast was completely screwed and got creative. I put it in a bowl of regular white rice and made sure it was right in the connector that got soaked. I pulled it out and blew out all the rice that was getting sticky every 45 mins and then left it over night. It was good as new in the morning and worked great. I've since taken precautions to make sure that can't happen again and since been through many rain storms and no issues. Wet ballasts can be saved if it's an issue

Are you running relays? A wet relay will cause problems much easier then a wet ballast. Ballasts are ok to get wet. I've had tue same ballasts for almost a year and they get wet all the time, no problems. I have had a wet relay cause problems though.

Mine got wet...actually filled with water. I took the ballast out and took it apart. The circuit boards were covered with like a a rubber coating. I dumped the water out and dryed them off with my gf's hairdryer and it was good to go

99% of ballasts are waterproof. If you have warranty use it!

Mine get pissed on all of the time. They should be water proof. Unless of course they're garbage off of ebay
