what paint?

I want to paint my grill and door handle chrome. i was planning on using plasti-dip for the grill, but i read that someone used it on their handles and it peeled fast cuz of the constant use. is there another paint that i can use that will stick better?

Maybe a better idea would be to get removable custom vinyl. I'm sure you would be able to get chrome.

isn't the chrome just a stick on piece?

i painted my grille with plasti dip, and i dont think plasti dip would come of the handles too easy, just put on a few coats

i didn't even think about the chrome being a vinyl. i read in one of the many plasti-dip threads that someone had done their handles with it and it peeled in about a month. but if i peel the vinyl off it might look like crap! damn, i'm kinda conflicted now on what to do!

im in the same boat as you, did the chrome grill with plasti dip and it looks good, but idk what to do with the handles. they are the only thing on my car that isnt black. let me know if you peel them what it looks like. i dont wanna plasti dip them because i dont like the way it feels and picture it easily getting rubbed off

i'm thinking about just sucking it up and plasti-dipping them, then putting a clear coat over it so it's a bit smoother, and doesn't come off as easily
