What paint to use???

What paint should i use to paint my headlight housing. I see a bunch of people with it done so if one of you could tell me what kind of paint to use?

I had the same question but no one really said in any write ups, so i went to walmart and picked up 500 degree engine enamal paint. Now I know it wont bake off, haha

Is there anything i should worry about when taking the headlight apart?

I used dupli-color Black Enamel Paint and Dupli-color clearcoat. If you would like to see pics of my headlights let me know.

That won't bake off with the heat from the bulbs?

I got the high heat because it was cheap, i knew it wasnt going to bake off, and it was black and glossy. You dont need a special plastic paint unless your slacking on your prep work.

Nope, but make sure you lightly sand what you are going to paint, so it sticks, and doesnt run.
