Whats The Difference Between the Aftermarket Housings?
OKAY HERE WE GOOOOO.
How can some of you on here tell the difference between what generations of the aftermarket headlight housings? What am I missing?
This is yet, another noob'ish question from me, yes I know.

gen 2 has CCFLs with a bar above it and 3 angel eyes on the side
3rd gen i think has them at the bottom and really isnt an upgrade, just a reposition of the 1st gen.
I personally like the location of the 1st gens...they just need more quality in the product

Those look like LED's if they were CCFL's you would know it. The CCFL lights are way brighter than the LED ones. You could almost use the Halo's as DTRL's they give off so much light.
You have a few problems there. First, how do you have them wired in that the high beam halo isn't coming on? Or is that what you were going for?
Also you have some condensation, this is easy to fix however, you have the start of the tiny little cracks starting on the outside cover. These will get worse, until they look like ****.
Go onto ebay and find a set of stock lights, buy them and then remove the glass cover from them and put the glass cover on the projectors.
The projectors come with plexiglass on them and can't handle the heat of the headlight, plus your running HID's which is even worse for heat.
In any case to clear the fog and prevent it from coming back use a hair dryer to dry the headlight up really good. Then use black silicone to seal up around the edges, carefull with the silicone, apply it in layers, small layers so it does not leak into the housing. Use masking tape on either side of the gap so when your done you will have nice lines rather than smears of silicone
BTW-These are 3rd gen projectors, the first one is from before the HID kit when it

Thanks dude...The condensation happens only when i have my h.i.d.s on and go to the car wash. So I just make sure to turn them off before hand, so i wont have this problem. But if I forget, all I do is wait a couple of hours, and the condensation is gone.
And my halos dont work. At first, it was just my inner driver. Then when I took out the housings, to put my fogs in, when i put them back in, only one halo works.
