Whelen Hideaway help

Has anyone here installed a system in a car before? i have the 90 watt power supply with 6 outlets, it says to use wire that can take 125% of the power needed for the power supply. What kinda wire should i use?

a thick wire for the main line, but wiring the lights you will be fine with a regular automotive wire with fuses

14 gauge will be lots, you could prolly get away with 16 if thats what you have on hand.
We installed a lot of these in the shop I used to work in (we were a Whelen dealer) and they do not draw a lot of power.

And if they are the strobe units, don't put fuses in the line between the power supply and light itself, these operate at about 600 volts, low current mind you. Just need to fuse between the battery and power supply.

Hope they aren't red and blue

nope they are clear, because im alloud to use clear or blue lights for fire use only, and car shows. but i know not to fuse between the power supply and the lights.
