Wire Tuck (with pics)
yes that's correct, if someone wanted to spend the time to tear apart the dash you could come from the cabin directly into the "cubbyhole" and then through the fender but I really didn't care to do that when you cant really see it anyway
sorry there has not been an update in a week or so I came down with the flu and haven't wanted to really touch the car. any who I get my engine-block back from the machine shop tomorrow and once the engine has been assembled I will pick back up with the bay shave, strip the car, paint it and finish the wire tucking

I have actually thought about that lol
like I said a few posts previous, not much has been done to the car, I did finish extending the wires from the cabin of the car but now I think I'm going to bring them back into the cabin and reroute them through the hole I made in the windshield wiper channel before connecting to the fuse box
I also decided i was going to redo the brake lines so they are out of the way/view
here is how she sits now

what I did was I used label sheets and wrote a letter for harness identification and number for wire identification on a slip for each wire and placed two exact same labels on one wire then cut in-between them so A1 would mate up with A1, A2-A2, A3-A3. the little address sticker sheets from the office store work well for this

No a wire tuck is where you go through the engine bay and "tidy" it up. Problem with our cars is you're limited on what all you can do because of how our electrical system is ran. The best time to do the majority of the hard stuff is when the engine is out like OP is doing
