doesnt matter if its galvanized or not. if you took any of the coating off it will rust. just throw some cheap spray max 1k etch primer. a light coat will be more then enough and all you need to do is scuff it up or sand it off when applying fillers or primers and what not.
pre exsisting rust just sandblast.
well it's been a while since my last post and a lot has been going on too, first off turns out I'm going to be an uncle to a niece so yay more family. haha As for the car I've been battling with humidity as I live in Texas it's been 60-80% humidity the past month and it's been causing problems with the stuff I have already done, getting some cracking and blistering where moisture has surfaced

so I had to create a controlled environment to manage the humidity

then I started working taking the affected areas down to the metal again

and I got a dehumidifier and a 5000cfm circulation fan with filter im keeping the temp at about 75 and the humidity as low as the little dehumidifier can get it which is about 30% also got an additional filter for the compressor and descant air dryer to keep my air supply super dry, i feathered in all the damaged areas wet sanded the epoxy primer and am about to start filling things in again
