My buddy says that his stick jetta gt will demolish my Balt. I say this isnt so. He has a claimed 115 whp. I know i have 145 at the fly. what do you think the outcome will be? Im definatley not trying to lose to that piece of crap. Ps. this isnt a street race ;-)

 

jetta gt? they are 2.0 litre (8 valve i think) fours. you'll rape one.... they were not bad in their time as far as a GT car, but they were never asports model

 

u would smoke em the balt has like 128 to the wheels and more TQ then a pos jetta

 

He's quite a bit lighter than you, but the 2.2 is far more advanced. You should rape him, no contest...

 

I raced a tiburon a while a go and destroyed him before the govy hit . You have nothing to worry about . If anything it is a waist of gas .

 

do you mean on in atuocross race??? cause that the forum your in lol if so autocross is all in the driver look at the cobalt that races i belive it just a 2.0 stg2 with some spray and it has beaten 400+ whp evos and skylines in a straight line you'll win on a track its all in the driver

 

If it is the 2.0L you'll tear it apart. I raced my friends Jetta (stick) with my 2.2L (automatic) and i wasted him. We ran about a 1/4 mile and I let off a little before the end cause I had about 4 or 5 lengths on him and that was from a dig.

 

You're fine...I've destroyed my friends 2004 Jetta 2.0 many times..he claims it because I'm modded even though I'm not... haha

 

Yeah after I got done destroying my buddies he asked me what size 6 cylinder I had

 

are you guys crazy? havent you seen the Jetta commercials? while everyone else is slowing down and hitting the brakes, you just gas the jetta and it pulls you thru corners. come on now. get real huh!

Well, I beat a 2006 GTI with my Cobalt in autocross!

 

I have beaten alot of cars with my car(on my stock tires) and this post should probably have been in a different forum.
