Gotta pay to play I guess. Granted I did beat the crap out of it at the track last weekend. Agreed e85 is beastly, worth the bad mileage.

If you can't find a gas station that is within a reasonable distance away from the track it will be pointless to run E85. At Road America I have to fill up after every session or else I take a risk with running out of fuel. I bring 10 gallons of E85 with me and I start with a whole tank and that will last me almost all day minus the last 20 minute session. Also when you get tuned make sure that you back down the timing a little from normal because your motor will not be happy if you are throwing lots of timing at it for long periods of time. Also make sure you have decent cooling mods and an interceptor to monitor IAT2's. You will see 160-170+ IAT2's if you just have a front mount H/E or stock cooling.

You mean which track? Last time was at Little River Dragway. I prefer Rallas Raceway though due to better prep.

For reference on e47(50/50 mix) I got about 300 miles to a tank all highway at about 70mph with just two passengers and a spare 2gal of e85.

I run E85 all summer, and there are several stations close to where I live. The road track however, is about 70 miles from here and there are no E85 stations anywhere near. So I fill up before i leave and bring (2) 5-gallon jerry cans. That's always been enough to get there, do my thing and get back home.

As far as mileage is concerned, in my experience the higher mileage just about eats up the price difference. Here it's about 15-20% cheaper, but gets about 15-20% lower mileage.
