Also something to add.... listen to the guys who have been doing it for awhile.

At almost every event I have been to so far (in the few years I have been going to track events) you will find someone who not only has a wealth of experience but is willing to give you some pointers on how to do things better.

 

Someone photoshop an SS/TC in place of that Vette (perferably black) and that's my biggest fear RIGHT there...I'd be having a coronary and kicking my own ass all in the same motion . Thanks for the PDF I've pulled it to my drive and am going to read it in parts when I have the time...can never have too much information if I manage to find the time AND the ***** to give it a shot .

 

You should head out to TMP on a friday night or something like that, I believe they have 4 hours of lapping for $80 on friday evenings.

It really is just good fun, if you are worried about ending up like that corvette just go slow, take your time, build up the confidence to go faster.

I will warn you though, do this once and you are hooked. It is HIGHLY addictive.
