OUCH, well i for one beleive he traded. I mean not to much to prove by lying does he?? You didn't get alot for the trade, but I mean thats the reality of trading cars, you never gt close to what its worth, cuz dealers need to make money!! Hard blow, but suck it up, you traded a nice car for a another nice car. Its ashame GM treated you bad, but if they kept trying to F#$ you over, I would of done the same and never by GM again. Gm has always treated me good, so I'll keep driving them until they dont anymore!! None the less, nice ride!!

MY bad, it doesnt make sense to loose that much money on a car, i know!! But some have the cash and they dont care!! Or they are just fed up and want something new!! I supose not everyone love their balts like i love mine!! ITs going to be like that for all cars i guess!

So to continue this:
What are the S/C's selling for privately? For example I have an '05 Cobalt S/C with 20k kms. I know what I owe on it, but would love to know what it's worth.

Thanks.....thats the last place I would have thought to check.............
Besides there are like 2 S/C's that are 2006's, and autotrader tends to not be a realistic evaluation of real world value.

Definitely, Autotrader can be great and help towards selling your vehile but it is in no way a good source to distinguish whether what you are buying is a good deal or not. many cars are sold as is and sold modified. You can still find great deals, but beware of the car you are interested in. I've heard enuf ppl selling their cars for more than what they want and then there are those who pay for a car only to get a lemon outta it!

There's no point in telling him he got raped. If he did, then he did. Not much else can be done bout it but learn your lesson and enjoy your new ride. Its a nice car the Z. I personally would never get it (cuz of Chewbaka-like exhaust now, bleh styling and not mod friendliest compared to other cars.) But hey man, its a step up from the balt so the Z should be a nice change. I know a few ppl with stock and modded Z's and G35's. They are decent quick and pretty comfy but just this year 2 of my buddies sold their Z's for S2k's...They have since never looked back. I won't get into details bout why.

Who cares....dealerships are crooks...hence why we call em Stealerships! I personally wished I got a better freaking deal on my WRX when i bought it new. I shoulda got it in the US ie Buffalo/Michigan. Woulda saved me a buncha money. But its ok. I still milked my dealership with free parts and rustproofing, etc.
