So I got the car all back together and full of fluids. Go to turn it over to prime the oil pump, all I got was a loud click of a solenoid and my radio and headlights shut off. First thing I suspected was the battery. I pulled the battery out of my winter beater Cavi and same thing. So started checking for any bad or loose connections. None that I could see. Not like there's much for wiring that goes to the starter. I pulled the fuse box back out to see if there was a bad connection. Still no go. Bit of a head scratcher. I was getting frustrated so I left it for the night. Start back on it again tomorrow and see if I can figure out what the hell is going on.

I was so looking forward to hearing my car run tonight

That's unfortunate to hear! Fresh perspective will help. You will get it figured out!

Ya after putting 5 hours into it yesterday my paitence was low at the end lol. It's gotta be a bad ground or a ground I forgot to hook up somehwere. I'm so damn close!

Sounds like a sensor is either unplugged or isn't fully connected. Could your crank position sensor be bad or not fully connected?

The motor should still spin over with a sensor disconnected

Gotta be a bad ground or something not hooked up quite right. Check the starter? Any chance it's not lined up properly or was broken during install. My 92 lumina did the same thing and the starter turned out to be sort of stuck and would just vibrate and tick. Replaced it and all was well. After that.

The car was sitting for quite a while maybe the starter got moisture in it or corroded.

But that still wouldn't explain why all my lights go out when the key is turned to the start position

The Balt runs! I'm having intermittent starter issues. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And it didnt when I wanted to go for a test drive . So I gotta pull it out and see if it just needs some lube on the starter shaft or if I need a new one.

The neutral balance shafts definitely give the car some vibes at idle lol. I'm sure once I'm tuned they'll calm down a little.

So I got to drive my car! It idles like **** and wants to stall on deceleration coming to an idle. Gotta look if its the tune or a vaccum leak. And this thing is making way too much boost lol. I havent even wound it out and I'm seeing almost 30 psi on my gauge... I was seeing 27 at redline last year.

I say buy Jordans and wire them in sync then when you hit 30 psi the second activates and then your good to 60 psi..
