been a while boys, i got laid off and have been travelling for the last month or so. funny how life plays out eh-sold my redline, 3 months later get laid off. my cabin property deal fell thru and my dog broke a dew claw. lol. something good has to happen soon...im sunburnt as fack, i smell like melanoma, the last cobalt guy i seen was mike at gimli.

this being said, i'd like to get together with you street racers and chit chat. im throwing the idea of a beer and bbq nite at my place in sunny st.james? would there be any interest?

Well boys, I got them Sway bar end links on and my clunk in the front end is gone. Woo Hoo. Was a bitch to do but now I know how and will be able to do it faster next time. So if any of ya have that annoying clunk in the front end change your links and your golden.

So I got my july onstart diagnostics report and I am getting a warning for my engine and transmission system in particular the ignition system. So we should get together to put on the latest revised tune and also get that P0315 code cleared up (Crankshaft Position (CKP) System Variation Not Learned ECM, PCM
). Can Trifecta do this?

 

Ok did a little research. What i am reading is if I disconnect my battery for a half hour then reconnect it will relearn. Can any one confirm this?

 

Disconnect it for 15 mins and it should re-learn.

I work tonight till 10:00, So after that i can meet up with you and we can get it taken care of.

Also, Once i tuned my car my onstar went bonkers. But it also was disabled two months after i got tuned lol.

 

I will try at lunch. If it doesnt work you mentioned before you could do a relearn with trifecta is that true?. I read HPT can do it with out needing credits and it takes two mins.

 

I am not 100% sure if the new program can do that. I know i can delete the code.

I think it can do a CASE relearn.

I think the combonation of IC pump, bleeding lines, Timing reduction and all around good luck did it for us.

Well boys I got my CAI in and finally fitting properly. Kevin was free last night so I bolted up my 2.6" pulley and went tuning. 5 liters of meth later we got it pretty close to dialed in. All I can say is wow. The car pulls so much harder. It completely blows the tires off rolling in 1st through 2nd lol. Limited the boost to 50% in 1st and its like flicking on a light switch at 4500 rpm lol. 19 psi ftw haha.
