Well fellow winnipeg SS's.. Im gonna have some parts for sale real soon.. Spec stage 2+, upgraded throwout bearing, clutch pipe, Innovate LC1 wideband+ gauge, just to name a few things offhand. Everything that I just listed is brand used and never been used.

The reason - I hit a fucken COW on the perimeter last nite!

 

Geez where were you like a month ago??? Lol. 3 of us needed and bought clutches. Is the spec clutch new still? I remember you having it for sale a long time ago.

I was driving a car that was in 1 piece. The clutch is the same one I was going to sell last year, brand new and only been out of the box a few times to look at. Was going to sell because my Mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer (she had lost her battle shortly after being diagnosed) and I really just lost all interest in cars altogether, so was going to sell all new parts not installed. Recently I had decided to finally put everything on and had a few other plans as well. I will also have a few sets of rims and tires for sale as well. The dark SS rims, aftermarket 18's with BFG KDW's (NT), 2 sets of winter rims and tires, and a set of (stock) Pirelli tires with decent tread left

 

Sorry to hear about your mom. I'm interested in the Pirelli tires if the tread is good and the price is right. I guess you wouldn't part with just the BFG KDW's?

 

what kind of 18's are they?

Thanks man, I appreciate that! Once I get everything settled with MPI ill list some prices and everything that will be for sale. My first instinct would be to say no about separating the rims and tires, but Ill def let you know once the time comes.

I am interested in quite a few things u have haha. If the price was good on the spec clutch I may throw that in as opposed to my GMPP. Just a little worried how the GMPP will hold up launching with my drag radials. I like those rims. Maybe I could use an extra set haha. Or just peel off the rubber and sell the rims. Get prices on everything and let me know

k Ill let you guys know when I get all this **** sorted out with MPI and start selling ****. Have any of you guys went from owning an SC to a TC? If so - Was it a decent 'upgrade'? Wondering how the seats stack up against the Recaros? Also, have any of you guys totaled a balt before? Just trying to get an idea of how much MPI is gonna try and screw me for.


Btw thanks for the compliments on the rims. I was quite happy with them! There was a VERY limited selection of rims when I bought these and was quite happy to find these ones.

 

SOrry to hear about your accident. Hope you are okay. I think MPI listing price for buyer's tax the 06 ss/sc was $5250 or something like that. But you can definitely argue that selling price right now is much more than that. Bring all your recipts.

As for wing night I'm totally booked up (which is why I have barely been on here) and don't have much of a life.

 

Theres another member on here who wrote off this 06 SS/SC last year and i'm pretty sure MPI ended up giving him like 14k ish for it. They should give you a decient dollar for it. You just have to argue with them a little bit haha. You will definitely get more from MPI then if you were to sell it private.

 

ps my buddy found a 2007+ radio at the junkyard. He's pretty creative, but from what I read on here theres almost no way to swap it right?

I just want aux without having to pay up the ass for it.

I called that guy on st marys/dakota and it was basically like 300+ dollars... I was like i might as well buy a double din touch screen and have it installed for that price.

You guys know anywhere good/cheap or a way to shove that 2007+ radio in my my car or how to get aux input for relatively cheap?

 

I havent been active for a while but I could have swore the stereo sway has been done. From what I remember it wasnt an easy task but was done.
