Project does trifecta tunes via vince at trifecta.
Kennyspec does hpt tuned himself, I have no idea if he does anything besides sssc or if he even tunes much anymore.

Don't get me wrong, it sucks

It was not so much a Stopped caring thing, I used that as a excuse. I really just got overwhelemed paying off debt's and such. Then i wanted to go another route with the car which ended badly.


This winter its being stored. Over winter its going to be put back together to look like that again. I promise by spring for it to look better then that.

If i recall correctly HPT is the only program that supports the L67. Pretty sure Trifecta does not.

I was looking yesterday and saw that you've made something like three different threads on buying something else...

Actually when I saw that picture I remembered seeing it last year, then wondered to myself it it was the car that autopac wrote off ~ the one I've been buying parts off of for the last two consecutive summers...
Then I saw your name... and stopped in utter disbelief.

I'm pretty sure that the guys in Calgary don't quite understand that I will be having fun with my car... at which point in time this second cobalt I have languishing in my garage might finally be put to use...



if by L67 it was meant L61 (GM reuses engine codes, I think the most recent L67 was a 1990's V6) ~ trifecta does support it...

 

Yeah the L67 were old buick V6 motors. At first i assumed a L61 (which trifecta does support) but i did go by what was posted.

M3's and evox's and 350-370z and sti's are getting played the *** out......myself i wouldnt mind a lancer or evo 8 or 9.

See, Because i had negative equity go into my loan, i am paying a 35,000 dollar loan right now.

If i sell my car, as a wash. My monthly payments will be cheaper getting a car for 25,000 dollars.

Or


I pay my 35,000 dollar loan payment for the next 3 years, ending with a Cobalt worth 8-9,000 dollars

Or

I pay a 25,000 dollar loan for 4 years and end up with a vehicle that worth 25,000 dollars.

BTW. Evo X here in canada are 32,000 + for a 08

US its 23k+

Rediculous what some people will pay without doing research.

 

Sell your car as a wash? You aint gonna get 35k for a used cobalt lol. You won't even get what you actually have owing on the car itself nevermind the other 15k from your previous loan attached to it. Let's say you owe 20,xxx on just your Balt. Some 15 year old kid loves it and actually pays you the insane 20k for the car. You still have 15k of your loan left then you go buy another car for 25k which puts you further in debt

How the hell would anyone have a loan for 35,000 on a 3 year old Cobalt??


In a year, Providing my car is back to stock-ish and looks good. I could get between 17-19k (tops) for my Cobalt here in canada.

US, Different ball game. People get 13-16 for theirs.

that 17-19 will pay off the remainder of my loan.


Personally, What i pay per month is to much to drive a Cobalt, And resale value sucks.

 

Oh sorry I thought you had 35 owing with the other loan you had from previous. You would be surprised man lol. A guy at the shop bought a rzr from us still owing 6500 on a previous quad he had. A rzr is like 15k new. He tacked on the 6500 from his old loan and did it over 120 months. His total paying if he followed through turned out to be 32k . Balts took a huge **** kicking in price value when the cruze came out. Is your car worth 17-19? Yes. Are you going to get that come next year? Probably not unfortunately.
