Actually come to think of it I should probably wait until I get my rear rotated trans mount from ZZP. It was shipped last week so fingers crossed it shows up this week. I don't need to wheel hop 255 drag radials lol

That sucks to hear Jordan. Get that fixed. I'd like to see what your car does at Gimli.

p01010

Keeps coming on and off, its weird. ill take a look at it soon. I have just been really busy with work (both jobs) balancing somewhat of a romantic life (going on dates) and trying to fix this car/start up of a third job for a company on these boards.

I'd like to run at Gimli but my car is no were near the "presentable" shape it should be in. I'd feel embarrased bringing it to the track.

Things i have to fix are

-Need a spoiler
-Key hole on trunk
-Side body damage
-Rims are chipping
-Need new tires
-Maf/ECU problem
-Broken Windshield
-DIC change oil life
-Headlights (borrowing dustins)

As you can see i have a long list of things i would like to fix. I'd preferably like to get it back to as near stock condition so i could in the next year sell it and move onto something less expensive to maintain.

6 of the 9 things you listed are maintainence/damage from your own doing lol. I don't think a different car is going to help you a whole lot haha. My car isn't ready for gimli but my motorcycle is! I'm gonna run it! Lol

Oh i am totally aware of this.

However one thign you LSJ guys do not realize that us LNF guys deal with is.

Bigger brakes=More expensive pads
Bigger Brakes= Rare selection of rims/tires to outfit tires with (summer and winter)

Not to mention the LNF being finiky when it comes to sensors.

I'd like something cheaper, with four doors.

For now ill keep the cobalt for a long ass time but ill probably put it back to (or close to) stock .

I been having problems lately with limp mode too, now i been getting CEL lights coming on. Seems to happen when it gets really humid out, I thinking it must be crappy sensors getting moisture in it or something. Till I can get car running consistent wont be doing any racing in gimli.

Shoulda kept your non SS . When buying a car that has sweet features like Brembos it's the things you kinda prepare yourself for. Do I like paying through the ass for premium gas and full synthetic oil? No it sucks but it's things I knew I was getting myself into buying the car. Too bad you are putting your car back to stock Jordan. Its one sexy/fast ride in it's prime

Lol you are preaching to the choir on that one! I'm glad I got a lot of stuff done to my car before getting my house. But i'm still plugging away at little things. I picked up a GMPP clutch brand new on here last week for a great deal. I don't need it yet but I will. I would really like a winter beater. Then I would bolt up a TVS. But this whole owning a house thing limits me to the larger amounts of cash flow I used to have lol.
