buy a used copy for 250-300 with no credits left

 

You will never find hpt pro that cheap. Even with no credits. Ive been down this road. Anyone is better off just saving their pennies and buying new with 8 credits.

 

I've seen pro go for 300 with no credits.

In mikes case it would make no sense for him to buy one with 8 credits, Mike does not plan on tuning other cars, just his own

So mike buys a used pro for 300 (ill say 350 to keep you happy). He purchases his credit for 100, he then pays someone to remote tune him (150).

So he is into it for

350 + 100 + 150 = 600

Then, If mike wants to recover some of his money, He can sell that copy of HPT for what he paid (as they do hold their value very well) and then mikes only into it for 250 dollars

 

Now the ideal situation for mike is if he can get another LSJ that wants to get remoted tuned on board to pay half the initial cost of the HPT. cutting that 350 in half.

 

Well when you see a deal like that let me know because I never have. Regular hpt goes for $300 used. Pro usually goes for $400. That I've seen.
