No lol. I don't deal with fedex freight/fedex express shipments i just do customs clearance and brokerage.

Im going to guess the scarf was made in CN/TW. With that said the Hotel would have just shipped in fedex express. Without declare it as a gift its considered a taxable item. You pay GST/DUTY/BROKERAGE thus the 25 dollars.

Next time ship it USPS
