I sounds good man!

Anyone have any experience with TRS retrofits? I got a mini H1 bixenon kit from them and put it in but when I wired it all up the lights turn off when I switch to high beams. I worked all day yestertday on it and couldn't figure it out

I was actually planning on just going to see projekt (closer to summer) but I had noticed the deal for the tune and free cable on the 1st of January, and shortly after realized the deal ended on dec 31st.. I decided to take a gamble and ordered it on the 1st hoping they would still throw in the free cable, sure enough they confirmed yesterday that I would in fact get a free cable. If they didnt give me the free cable I had just planned on canceling order and going thru projekt.

Hey free is free, i think everyone that knows me on here knows i love free things haha.

What kind of deal was it if you mind me asking?

edit, i just saw this on the website

"November, 2011 Special - FREE EZ Flash cable!

If you own a 2008 or newer vehicle, or a 2007 and newer Pontiac Solstice GXP / Saturn Sky Redline, you can get an EZ Flash cable FREE with your tune order (budget tunes excluded). The EZ Flash cable is normally a $200 option when ordered with a tune. Unless otherwise specified in your order form, if a customer asks for the EZ Flash cable, we'll assume they want the FREE cable! "

cant beat that deal.

Thats the exact deal I got, I bought it thru modern performance. I figure even if its something im not capable of doing myself I can always see if ur willing to give me a hand(and id make it worth ur while of course). It cost me $299 for cable and tune.

Yeah that is a really good deal.

Did you get the selectable tune?

And yes its fairly simply to install the software, But if you need a hand i can toss you my number and you can text me when you are doing it.

Now to talk about the Downpipe. I also have a catless downpipe with extended o2 bung. I would highly recomend putting the downpipe on first and then getting tuned.

Obviously you want to make the most power you can, and you will only do this by tuning after adding additional parts.

And simply, sometimes (even with extended o2 bungs) LNF cars toss rear O2 codes after installing catless downpipes, You will want Vince to delete that code.

Also, I had him delete the cat-warm up mode. Its that really loud start up noise your car makes for a few mins. Its meant to warm the cat up to control emissions better and prevent you from blowing your cat. However with not cat you have really no need for it at all (unless you want to impress your friends with your new cool airplane sounding car)

Excuse my ignorance but im not quite sure what the 'selectable tune' is? I gave them my 'mods', chose for it to be activated with my cruise control and thats about all I know about it.

hah no worries, Yes that is the selectable tune, means you can activate it by hitting the cruise control button.

You got a really good deal. Prices must have dropped last i checked (which was around summer).

I know last year (the last LNF i tuned) base price was 310 dollars and that did not get you a cable lol.

Ok I figured thats what it may be. It seemed like I was getting a good deal which is why I bought it as soon as I seen it(even though it was a day after it expired). I looked on Trifecta's site and from what I could tell the tune was listed at $350 on their site(without cable of course).

BTW I know ur busy so all im wondering is yay or nay for MPx catless DP?

yay, its the best quality and best priced downpipe on the market IMO.

Others id consider are ZZP and treadstone.

Executive decision made! That work for everyone? The wings were more expensive but the pitchers were cheap. Which Smitty's?

Need a bit more info to help. Have you checked all connection for all sensors and crap? Also I suggest posting this in the problens and service forum you'll get more people looking at it.
