would have gone hawk or r1 had i not been metal on metal and i couldnt wait. would have done it myself as well but i have no time. owell easy expensive way! bright side lifetime warrenty on parts..
I had a black 04 STi that I sold a couple years ago. I see you're a Trifecta dealer?
projekt & BL - you should come over here for a wing night
as long as I have room, you guys can crash at my place
(but not this weekend/week - my Dad & step mom are flying in from winnipeg on friday
)
@ st3 - congrats on the purchase;
I know he was trying to sell that car for a while... at a steal of a deal (IMHO) ~ I'm surprised it didn't sell sooner...
we were going to meet up here this past summer, but it never worked out, then when I was last down there, I saw him drive by when I was coming back from a local scrap yard (with '09 SS parts btw) in my dad's truck....
username was grandam something or other...
again congrats on the purchase, I hope it gives you many trouble free miles.
I haven't had a single hiccup with mine (unless you count a headlight fogging
)- then again I'm still bone stock...
Incase you care, my personal best here in Calgary (more than 2,000 ft higher than gimli iirc) was 14.3 @ 98mph...
(I have broken 100mph, but that was on a 14.5 pass, and with higher elevations, et's do drop significantly)

Lol ya that McDonalds parking lot is pretty small. It would be sweet if you were able to come out Friday right racing if you could time it right.
Car was hit on passenger quarter and right on the rim/tire. Pushed all the rear axle over about 2 inches. It really wasn't that bad. But they threw some nice money at me and couldn't resist. Still looking for a new toy, maybe an lnf, mazdaspeed3, caliber srt4, not too sure yet.

the 2009 sport red tintcoat SS I grabbed the interior out of was TOTALLY salvageable... I mean I have an axle here for it... and the quarter panel was easily repairable (no airbags went off, and all the glass was still intact...
I have a very strong feeling that autopac is writing these cars off at the first chance, to in theory reduce the number of high risk cars on the roads...

Well if you seen the sport red tint coat lnf, my damage was the very same hit.
That's thinking ahead. Or when you ditch your Balts you can make a sweet couch for your basement! Or the best chair for race gaming!
nah, I honestly plan on keeping this car for the long haul.
I don't htink FWD cars will ever have the following of RWD cars;
finding good seast after like ten years is pretty much impossible...
