you get what you pay for though - 12k for a great car isn't a bad deal.
yup, 20k km's/year is considered average.
there was never $6k markup on SS/SC's when they first came out was there?
nice!
I don't have a clue how many of those are around here because I don't really know how to tell a redline from a regular...
but I wonder if I'm the only one who remebers a 'Speed' tv show circa 2004 that had three guys competing for something... and they all worked in the same shop, and worked on their cars;
one of the guys was a whiney sob who drove an Ion Redline - I recall him not being able to get along with the other competitors then having trouble trying to install stage kit parts.

redlines have the recaro seats, the 17 inch chrome rims, and some badging. thats really the only way to tell. they made a redline competition package, that came with gunmetal rims, highrise spoiler, ladder tach boost guage. and lsd diff.
no competition package for 2004 tho.

Suprisingly the lowest trim ss sc was 27000, add g85, leather riccaros, 6disc changer, sunroof and gunmetal 18's, sticker price on the build sheet I test drove for an 06 was 31500 not including destination and taxes. Pretty close to 35000 plus they never offer 0% on ss trim gm vehicles for some reason.
And you know some crazies pay sticker price!
6000 is a great deal for a good platform.
I was worried you were Gonna say z24 lol.

I for one didn't know htis.
Although I always liked them I understood them to be around $30k ~ but didn't expect sticker to actually exceed that...
