To the Moderator that locked this Thread. Ummm...Why did you lock it?

 

I would not waste my time getting the media involved as really the (ahem) guy was doing his job.. I once parked like you guys did and sure enough I was told I was parked wrong and risked getting a ticket. You cannot park facing the wrong direction esspecially on a frequently used road way esspecially that one..

I'm not defending that guy but I wrote parking tickets for the city of red hole, I mean red deer and some people sure were wondering wtf when you started writting a ticket.. Esspecially for parking in a handicapped zone .. I do feel for you all and really I can't understand why he just didn't ask you to park properly but as I've noticed since living in alberta its all about the money!!!

And ya why lock that thread mr/mrs. moderator person?

 

I think he locked the thread because people were starting to bitch at one another, myself included. I was getting ticked off at some of the stuff people were saying without clearly reading all the posts for explanations before making a educated reply.

 

exactly, you were told that you risked getting a ticket, we didnt even get to ask why, first thing he said was 'dont even think about moving your cars, your all getting tickets and towed...

thats why we are fighting, he treated us like junk and picked on us, there was cars all around with tint but he chose to pursue us...

if your not gonna be positive please dont post in this thread ok? we dont want your pestimistic comment, we know what we did was wrong but we felt we were treated unfairly.

 

I had a choice. Lock it and end it. Or hand out infractions to everyone that was arguing. Since you want it open, I'll start handing out infractions instead.

Hey Geoff

I apologize for the arguing that was going on. It only involved myself and two other members. We would appreciate it if you could please unlock that thread. I will post a request from the the Alberta/Canadian folks to either disregard/ignore comments that are made to try and stir the pot. We are really trying to bring awareness to North Americans that the tuners of today minus some bad apples are the same as the baby boomer's that are moding up there classic cars with High output engines and the like. We are trying to get away from the typical stereo type today that a young person with a high performance vehicle is not always out to race and cause problems.

Again I apologize for everyone's behavior especially myself as I was having a bad day which is no excuse.

I wasn't being negative there TK if you had read my posts youd see I'm your guys side esspecially the parking deal If I was there I would have gotten nailed to and so to been just as pissed, me losing my tint would have been my fault as I know its not allowed by law but put it on anyways. When I sped on May long and got pulled over I never got pissed as I knew I was doing something wrong.

I am on your guys side again re: the parking issue and I'm not kissing ass regarding what happened just in case any 1 thinks!
