I was playing around with a poster idea for the front page of Css.net for the meet. Let me know what you think. I might see if I can adapt last years registration form that I have from Chad to work for the 2010 meet.

nice i'm working on a website as its easier when its up and running its easier to keep track of pre-registration and how many people as we are going to be advertising on multiple forums.

edit**

ok guys i started the website and will continue working on it, to add form's and such so we can keep track of member's/people wanting to attend. anyone with updated information regarding this please feel free to email me the information at stevenspaulding@shaw.ca and i will update the site accordingly.

http://westerncobaltmeet.comoj.com

sorry about the subdomain, didn't think paying $20 to register a domain that may or may not be used again was worth it. maybe in the future i will register the domain

Good luck with getting it going in Sask. I have my doubts it will fly with people from Alberta. If it does I volunteer as the leader from Central Alberta.

as i was saying in the poll lol it reall doesn't matter to me where it is but i will say that if there is anything i can do as in decals then i am more then happy to help. i do have some ideas on the new wccm2010 meet decals. last year was brutal on preparing them. so i want to make it more universal. so i was thinking instead of die cut like last year, lets do a print. that way i can elliminate all fine detail weeding. lol i have several ideas already when they are ready i will present the ideas in a thread. then we all vote on them. cool

that just sounds arrogant,

Sask does have alot to offer and maybe people want a change, and try to get others from driving 16 hours +

Saskatoon from Winnipeg is like 8 hours.. Calgary/Edmonton to Saskatoon 5.5 hours and 5 hours

I don't think he means himself... i think he means a lot of the city kids. "Because travelling is hard!"
Blech! Yea it's hard to make an effort! (<- this is towards anyone thinking SK is not a good place to do it this year! )

Yeah i agree with josh. But, if you think about it its fair, it was in alberta for the last two years now its time for it to be in saskatchewan. Sure, guys from alberta wont make the trek, but more people from saskatchewan and probably more than one person from manitoba will come.

Oh and nice registration package picture rory!

well since im in Saskatoon right now.. i decided to talk with Said hotel... its not 100% but i can most likely get us rooms for the following:

70$ / night
camp site 10$/s be night

I'll need an estimate of people. etc and i might even be able to provide the swimming pool for after hours.

Thanks, I didnt mean myself. I love road trips.

There's just this sterotypical view of Sask. because, well, at one point it was pretty damn boring. Of course over the years its definately boomed and has become more than just a province full of drunk, farming, Rider fans (go Montreal!). As well, for some reason, people from Alberta just don't like people from Sask or the province its self. Its sad to say, but Albertan's are almost becoming as bad as people from Ontario with their stuck up, arrogant, we're better than you, attitude.

So for the record, I have no problem driving to Saskatoon (or around that 6 hour mark) for a meet. Anything furthar than that and I just don't know if I could get enough time off of work, or afford to do it period.
