Soooo....I have had it with this ******* car. I will never bye GM ever again. I am putting this car up for sale.

I get a call from Jack Carter This morning and they will not warrenty the master cylinder on my car. They caim that the Clutch pressure is the cause for the failure and not the fact that the master cylinder is a cheap peice of plastic ****.

I am so pissed off right now I can't believe it.

Good old dealership working at its best to not take the blame.

Thing is though Larry....it does not matter what dealership you buy from, they are all the same. They always find a way to weasel out of an obvious warranty problem.

If I were you, I would take it to another dealership.

Maybe try calling gm directly and pleading your case. Most of time the dicks take the side of the dealership, but it might be worth a shot.

Well I wont be selling the car but they have me dam pissed off right now.

Here is what the damage looks like that they say they wont fix.

You are standing looking at the firewall from the front of the car. The tabs you see are bent. You can also see the small stress fractures on the sides of the tabs in the fire wall. They told me I would have to take the car to a performance shop to have it fixed so that they could welld up a braket or something to make it stronger. They then blamed the clutch pressure for the failure and would not warrenty the work. So I just payed 200 bucks for them to not fix anything and give me some story about how they don't have a tiege (sp) welder blah, blah, blah...

That's why I'm pissed.

to keep things a little cheaper make sure carters doesn't reinstall anything as that will cut down time that our techs will have to be under the hood of your car. and did parts find that bracket you were looking for?

Larry called me today to vent it was funny

In all serious though that's bullshit that they wont warranty it. The exact same thing happened to me and if a STOCK clutch can do that, then it wasnt just because of the "high performance" clutch. It's just weak to begin with. I'd call GM directly and try and plead your case. Maybe they will meet you in the middle or something to try and help you out. Especially when the "GM Certified" technicians didn't know how to fix it That right there tells me there's something fishy going on. Jack Carter = Garbage. Hopefully **** can help you out...

They have already taken out the fuse box so at least that does not have to be done.

Thanks for letting me vent Rob. It was kind of funny.

No parts did not find the part but I have the number. Part #: 15258000
