The 09's and maybe even since 08 GM did something that will fry your harness, my HID guy in town here took a look at the harness after we tried to install it and it didn't work......it was toast, the harness would be no good ever again. I'll get pics up soon, i LOVE the fogs, they look awsome

That is odd that it didn't work, or fried the harness like yours. I don't know why GM would do that.

me either but the guy who sells the kits(brother to who installed my kit) told me he's seen it happen b4 on newer cars, u just gotta wire it directly to the stock harness.......not the best option but there is still fuses on that system so i can't worry too much

Here's the new pics i took

sometime this week, tires should be here tomorrow/tuesday/wednesday at latest, then i gotta go find someone at my old dealership to swap em out on a saturday..........i dunno bout u guys lol but in Calgary it's a beautiful +13C outside right now, no real need for snow tires JUST yet. I ended up with Kuhmo KW17's, i hope they kick ass, they'll have to be better than the stock conti's lol.

I'll give you a quick winter tip here in Calgary:

The weather can change from 13C to -30C in a matter of hours. AND we can get a lot of snow in no time. So as nice as it is outside right now, it can change very quickly and the last thing you want to be is without the proper tires. You will see a LOT of it this winter where cars will still have summer tires on and they will be all over the place and not able to stop properly, etc.

so i read in the news paper today a story about 2 cars street racing along mcleod trail at 11 am yesterday. one lost control and ended up on the wrong side of the road and smoked a new jeep liberty head on. stories like this **** me off soo much. i hope the guy never gets to drive again. AND he had 3 ppl in the car. luckily everyone walked away with minor injuies..but still. ****! i couldnt see what the car was, but it had 'nismo' stickers on the driver door. it was mangled.

Here is the news link:

http://calgary.ctv.ca/servlet/an/loc...ub=CalgaryHome

So I have been driving on my new BC Coilovers since Wednesday and I have to say they are fantastic. I have them stiffened up quite a bit and they ride quite well. No more sag in the back end when accelerating or when there is stuff in the trunk. I highly recommend them to ANYONE looking for a good coilover.

The company that put them in for me put them a little higher then what I was sitting at with the drop springs but that is a good thing for the winter. I can now have my "winter" setup and then have a "summer" setup as well.

I can't wait to see where I can get this car sitting in the summer with the summer rims on.

What do u guys think of this idea?

I'm not sure if I'm going to have the entire trunk debadged or if I will get bigger letters and put "TurboCharged" or "Got Turbo?" across the middle kinda like "anOmalice" has "Cobalt" across his trunk. I've thought about putting "Ghost" or "Ghost SS" or "SS Ghost" across the trunk too, that's what i named my Cobalt lol.

PS, maybe black out the Bowtie too?

No, no, no. Honestly I think putting anything on other then the stock badges looks dumb. Debadging looks good, keeps people guessing.
If it were me I would just debadge and leave it at that.

nah i'm not sure i like how it looks debadged entirely, i'm definately moving the bowtie onto the rear lip but beyond that i'm not sure yet.

As for the black bowtie, why not makeit white with the chrome trim? Both the back and front one. That would look really good.
