If someone wants to make me an offer I don't really care.

With that guy, I just looked up what they cost brand new locally from a stealership, and from crateenginedepot, and let them make me an offer.

modern performance dropped the price to 109. The last groupbuy they did was like 125, Just don't have to wait for a certain amount of people to commit before shipping. Was thinking if you were ever interested in upgrading yours, could probably save a few bucks on shipping, I'm kinda thinking about one.

Here's my intro thread... My name's Rick, in my early 40's. I'm happily married with kids, living in north Calgary. I bought a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC in April. My mechanical knowledge is pretty damn close to nil, but I'd like to learn more. That's a big reason why I'm on css.net, and to meet other local enthusiasts.

So, hi! I've also just FB requested to join the GM Tuners of Calgary group. I'll probably ask the occasional stupid question. Thanks for your patience in advance, lol.

Welcome Rick!

Incase you didn't clue into it, I'll try to give you the heads up with this thread;
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/gene...4/#post5258391

I'm 34.

I was going to post in the GM Tuners of Calgary to see if anyone knew who you were - but I guess that isn't needed now

What colour is your car?

Does it have the Recaro seats & Limited slip differential?

Do you have the small, or the juvenile/ricer spoiler?
(I have the juvenile one )

Welcome here!

he didnt even get kicked out. he should have been suspended for it as per the rules. the next time we were on the ice together i got in his face and was calling him a ***** and a bunch of other choice words. you just dont go for another guy's *****. i was yelling at him as i was getting off the ice too haha

I'm 43, which makes me "40+ (old as ****)" in the poll, lmao.
Although I've never acted older than 25 in my life...

What colour is your car?

It's Victory Red, but whoever owned the car before me painted everything above the head/tail lights black.
I'm guessing they had a carbon fiber hood & trunk on it, before they put a red hood and wingless trunk on it and sold it to the stealership. It also has a base model front bumper on it, not sure why.

Does it have the Recaro seats & Limited slip differential?

Yes, it's a G85 car.

Do you have the small, or the juvenile/ricer spoiler?
(I have the juvenile one )

It's wingless, and I'm buying a carbon fiber hood & trunk in the current ED group buy to keep the black look on top.

Welcome here!
Thanks! I answered all your questions in Bold. Glad to be here!

I like the spoilerless look ALOT ~ but sometimes here it's overplayed.

Are you going to replace the front bumper skin with a correct one?

I have understood that 'Forest Lawn Auto Parts' - is the go-to place around town for Cobalt parts.

I like the spoilerless look too. I would've bought the car regardless though.

Yeah, I want to put the front bumper back to stock. I'd like to have fog lights!

Thanks for the heads up about Forest Lawn. I'll have to go look for a bumper there.
(Maybe next weekend after I thaw out from this coming week... brrrrrr)
