Car's at 12K in damage and 64% of total value. Super close to being written off but not yet written off...... I almost want them to write it off at this point because it's sooo close! But then again it's sad to think of her going Going to go down and see it. Apparently the glass flew in with enough force that it even pitted my drivers side window.

I don't have any lean on it.

The whole car except for the trunk lid has to be repainted :P Apparently when it impacted it actually momentarily twisted the front of my car for enough time to put cracks in the paint on the drivers side and cause rubbing.

Happy you're in better shape than the car is! With that amount of damage, I think I'd want it written off too.

Car's not a write-off, it got approved. It wouldn't of gotten approved if my OEM Parts Guarantee was through ICBC instead of Aviva because that's going to add another $2,000 to the total.

So basically my car is going to have $16,000 worth of work done to it and all new OEM parts and the only thing not being repainted is the Trunk Lid.

@ Travis - congrats on the house!

@ Greg - so what kind of time line are you looking at to get the car back?
~ Can I maybe now convince you to come down to Seattle in a couple week's?

well today i fixed my boat and got those injectors out.

and the "2 valve covers" i was talking about was 1 cover, and 1 spacer almost. so the valve cover comes off in 2 parts

yea nothing like i thought it was haha.

but the injectors were rusty. so there was water in the fuel and my dad thinks there could be a hole in some causing fuel to always be spraying
